Where to start… I guess the beginning is a good place.

I was born in Covington, Ky. I was born 3 months prematurely due to heavy alcohol and drug use by my mother. My parents divorced when I was around two years old. The court gave her custody of my brother and me for around one year, during which time my father spent all his time and money trying get custody rights back. He did win the custody battle, and he raised my brother and me on his own until I was around eight years old. His job in telecommunications moved us from place to place. Kenner Louisiana, and several places in Georgia. I don’t think I stayed in a school more than two years in a row until I was in middle school, which changed again in high school. As for my mother, I never seen her again, or at all due to being so young I had no recollection. I received one birthday present from her, and NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and the two crappiest games ever released, which I still played anyways. lol. That’s all I ever got from her. She did reach out many years later, on her deathbed dying of cancer, but I couldn’t bring myself to go to see someone I never knew, a stranger.

My father eventually found Christ, and that’s where he met a woman he eventually got married to. He devoted everything to the Church, his time, money and faith. He passed away at the age of 63 before he got to retire as part of chasing the American Dream. While he was alive, during his constant studying of the bible, he came to the realization about Christmas, and that December 25th wasn’t the actual day Jesus was born due to the 3 kings having to travel. He labeled Christmas as a pagan holiday for consumers, which to a point is true nowadays. My brother and I had to refuse Christmas gifts from others, and there was nothing celebrated in the home. So, I would spend Christmas’s at a friend’s house, watching them celebrate and receive gifts. We did get to go to Disney World once though (Image Above), I didn’t look too happy in that photo, I was always a shy kid growing up.
